Thanks for the comment Lynn! I didn't mean to imply that many VA's outsource without disclosure, just trying to look at it from a client's perspective! And VAnetworking is one of my favorite resources too! Take care!

Laurie:

I think this may be one of the most difficult things for clients to determine is how much time they may need a VA for. Most clients only know that they don't have the time to do it themselves. I like the different billable options that you have given clients to consider, when they are trying to determine how much time a project may take. I try to be flexible in this area myself with my clients.

However, I do think that most VA's that outsource their work do make their clients aware that this is what they do. At least the VA's I know do. But it is important for clients to be aware that some VA's do outsource their work. Like you, I do not currently outsource any of my work.

A good resource for clients who are looking for a VA is http://www.VAnetworking.com/find-a-virtual-assistant/. This eBook provides clients with information that will help them in their search for the right VA for their business needs. Another good resourece is www.ivaa.org.

Thanks again for the helpful tips.
